Here we go!

Your next equestrian adventure!

Hello, riders and drivers,

You are about to register for the meet Equirencontre 2023, which will take place from 11 to 13 August inclusive at

the Abbey of Good Hope (Abbaye de Bonne-Espérance), Vellereilles-les-Brayeux, Belgium.

We look forward to meeting you there.

On this page you will find the programme, rates and link to the Google form registration form. Registering will take you only a few minutes and a confirmation of your registration will be emailed to you once payment is received.

The registration deadline is 15 July 2023.

Onsite registration will not be possible. Thank you for understanding.

Programme

We shall welcome you on site starting Friday, 11 August. The horses of all riders and drivers arriving on horseback and by carriage will undergo inspections by a veterinarian and a farrier or hoof trimmer. Then you’ll be free to set up your paddocks and campsites in a beautiful meadow next to the abbey.

Come discover the region Saturday during a sign-posted ride, regardless of your trail-riding skills.

Sunday will also give you a chance to learn more through a selection of workshops, talks and horse games.

Don’t hesitate to come for certain days only or to drive up in a van if you don’t yet feel up to trail riding for several days. It will be an opportunity to meet some long-distance riders!

The basic payment includes meals from Friday evening to Sunday noon, but you may stay until Monday morning (optional).
The price is the same for « horseless companions » and riders/drivers who want to sleep outdoors, as the paddock space that is occupied does not affect the overhead.
